Hope Church and its employees and its third party contractor, WhatFriendsDo, LLC (“WhatFriendsDo”) are dedicated to protecting your privacy. Collectively, Hope Church and WhatFriendsDo are referred to as “we” or “us.”

If Hope Church or WhatFriendsDo become involved in a transaction involving the sale of its assets, such as a merger or acquisition, or if behopefriends.org is transferred to another company, Hope Church or WhatFriendsDo may disclose and/or transfer your Personal Information and/or Anonymous Information as part of the transaction. If the surviving entity in that transaction is not Hope Church or WhatFriendsDo, the surviving entity may use your information pursuant to their own privacy policies, and those policies may be different from this Policy.
Team Coordinators assign the level of privacy for particular Team pages. Because Teams have different needs and different preferences for privacy, there is a password required for private, password protected teams.
Password Required - Team page can only be visited by persons who have received an authorized password. This password is created and distributed by the Team Coordinator. Visitors are required to register before visiting the site.
We have no way of knowing and will not be responsible or liable if the individual accessing a Team page obtained the web site address or other settings through improper means. Every member of a Team (coordinator, family, friends and all site visitors) is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the web site address and any Team Coordinator's or visitor's username/password. The Team Coordinator may change the Privacy Level and any associated features of the Team page at any time.
We do not market to and does not knowingly collect any Personal Information from or about a child under the age of 13 without the consent of the child’s parent or legal guardian. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13 years of age, we will promptly take all reasonable measures to delete that data from our systems.
The Site may contain links to other sites on the Internet that are owned and operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the collection or use of your Personal or Anonymous Information at any third party sites. Therefore, we disclaim any liability for any third party's use of your Personal or Anonymous Information obtained through using the third party web site.
Unfortunately, no data transmitted over or accessible through the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. WhatFriendsDo will notify you in the event we become aware of a security breach involving your personally identifiable information (as defined by the applicable state and federal laws) stored by or for us on the Site. By disclosing your email address to us for any reason, you expressly consent to receive electronic notice from us in the event of such a security breach.
